I would like to thank Dorothy and her team on behalf of all the Dachtler family for the beautiful way that you managed my parents funeral yesterday. I work part time as a Chapel Attendant at the Crematorium at Milton Keynes and my wife is a civil, funeral celebrant, so we do have some knowledge of the way that funerals are conducted and, couldn't be happier. This was not a straight forward funeral, my mother died and I started the procedure with Dorothy to arrange her funeral always knowing that my father was unwell and quite likely to follow his wife of sixty one years very soon. As it happened, he died a couple of days before my mums scheduled funeral. Dorothy did not balk at all when I asked her to cancel my mothers, upcoming funeral and arrange a double funeral. This was duly done, without fuss and with really good communication. I would also like to thank Dorothy for honouring the company's promise to my parents that they would waive some of the fees due to them having fallen foul of a funeral insurance scam that is still being dealt with in the courts. Townsend Moore didn't have to do this and I am both pleased and impressed that they did.

We recently had the very great sadness of losing our most dearly loved daughter-in-law Emma, after several years of ill health, and together with our son, have been involved in organising her funeral, and subsequently, the interment of her ashes. The sympathetic and extremely efficient service provided by Chris, Dorothy and the team at this very stressful and traumatic time has been, quite simply, outstanding. Every single detail has been attended to by the firm along the way in a very caring and personal manner, removing any worry from the process. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The funeral service itself was conducted by the celebrant in a very personal, eloquent and meaningful way, and proved a great comfort to a family that has lost someone so young. I cannot recommend Townsend Moore highly enough, they certainly provide more than a 5* service, and without the extortionately high costs charged by the ‘big players’. We cannot thank them enough for making what has proved to be one of the darkest periods of our lives, a little more bearable.
